Dead Heat Ranch is a series about the Lambert sisters - 5 hardheaded, independent women who run their family's dude ranch.
This series sort of established itself. Back at the end of 2013, the amazing Kristen Proby asked me if I'd like to do an anthology with her and several other of the hottest erotic romance authors I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Of course, I said yes. Actually, I think it was more of a "Hell yes!!" but that's just a mere detail.
Anyway. When it came to writing the novella that would be included in the anthology, I wanted it to be the start of something hot. If you know my writing, you know that writing anything short is not easy for me. I've had several books that I intended to write as novellas and they ended up as novels.
One day, I was answering a question about the Walker brothers and all of a sudden it hit me. I'd write a series about sisters. And not just any sisters. These cowgirls know how to get down and dirty - in and out of the bedroom.
