Did you know that today is not only Halloween, but it's also my mother's birthday? Oh, did I mention it's my brother-in-law's birthday, too.

Yep. It is.

Is that some sort of sign? That we have multiple people in our family born on this day? I've grown up thinking of my mother as a witch (a good witch, of course) because of her birthday and it's always made me feel special that her birthday is today. Then, when I met my husband and found out his brother was also born on this day, I knew it was special.
